Welcome folks.  I am Amanda and this is my very first blog post.  I really don’t know where to start so I’ll just start by introducing myself.  I am a high school chemistry teacher, a mom, a beekeeper, a gardener, a wife, a cook, a Christian, and a crafter, not necessarily in that order. I am Southern to the core, but not trashy redneck.  They are two very different types of people. Maybe I’ll explain one day.  I believe in treating the Earth and ALL of it’s residents with love and respect, except maybe snakes… This blog will be used as my outlet. I mean, I spend my days with teenagers at school and my evenings with teenagers at home. I need an outlet!!  It will also me a place in which I will share gardening tips that I learn as I scrap garden.  I’ll share beekeeping tips. Who knows, maybe you’ll be a keeper one day too. The current plan is to not have a plan. (All the professional bloggers just died a little.) So, let’s get started and see how it goes.
